6 key steps to disarm cyber criminals

We reinforce the importance of following our guidelines to keep our Company’s and our Clients’ information secure. Here are the main ones (ref. Engage communications 9/1/2024, 6/3/2024, 30/7/2024):

Software – Do not install or run illicit, improperly licensed or unauthorized software. This also applies to browsers: those currently pre-authorized are Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and, for macOS only, Safari.

External storage – Do not use external storage devices (e.g. USB pendrives). Use only Engineering OneDrive, Teams, Sharepoint or, if required, equivalent customer-provided services.

Personal accounts – Do not use personal accounts for work, e.g., email, cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox etc.), development portals, code repositories (e.g., GitLab, GitHub), tools such as Postman, etc.

Devices – Do not work with personal PCs and do not use the company PC for personal tasks.

Data Classification – Always remember to apply sensitivity labels to emails and documents to protect them from unauthorized circulation.

Passwords – Do not save passwords or other corporate information on personal accounts or devices (caution: browser synchronization can copy corporate data to devices the Company do not manage).
